Terms & Conditions

 Sandy Pappas Travel acts as a sales agent for any hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, or other service provider named in your itinerary (“Suppliers”).  Sandy Pappas Travel is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules.

By booking wth Sandy Pappas Travel, you (client) accept these terms and conditions. Sandy Pappas Travel assumes no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defects in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under Sandy Pappas Travel’s control; and (4) any Supplier price drop after your travel arrangements have been confirmed, paid in full, or ticketed.  You hereby release Sandy Pappas Travel from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.

Suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellation penalties and other terms and conditions, and you may be bound by those contracts regardless of whether you receive notice of their terms. Moreover, Suppliers may change their cancellation and / or refund policies without notice,  By signing the trip planning agreement with Sandy Pappas Travel, you are consenting to those terms and conditions. If a Supplier does not provide the service or ceases operations, your only recourse will be against the Supplier. If a Supplier goes bankrupt, your only recourse will be to file a claim with the Supplier’s bankruptcy court or by other means such as your credit card company or possibly travel insurance. 

Sandy Pappas Travel has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, Sandy Pappas Travel recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, Sandy Pappas Travel recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s).  You hereby release Sandy Pappas Travel from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.

Sandy Pappas Travel offers access to services that enhance every travel experience. Travel insurance protects customers and their investment. Unless specifically noted, travel insurance is not included in the cost of the customer’s itinerary. Without appropriate travel insurance, Customer understands and agrees that if Customer cancels or interrupts travel for any reason portions of the trip/tour may not be refunded and cancellation penalties will apply resulting in the loss of monies up to the full cost of the Customer’s travel booking and related costs. Sandy Pappas Travel is not qualified or authorized to answer technical questions about benefits, exclusions and conditions of any of the insurance offered, nor evaluate the adequacy of the prospective insured’s existing insurance coverage. 

Sandy Pappas Travel Cancellation Fees

In the event a trip is cancelled for any reason after the trip planning has been completed, a cancellation fee will be applied up to an amount of 10% of the total trip cost to compensate me for commissions due.   

For hotel only bookings, a fee of $50 per booking for changes/ cancellations will be invoiced or a charge of $100 per hour if it was a complex booking that required more time.
